January 4, 2021 - FX technology provider Edgewater Markets has announced today the appointment of Jonathan Abrahams as Director of Quality Assurance, based out of its headquarters in New York. He will lead the Quality Assurance team, "continuing to ensure the high standards of product Edgewater Markets’ clients have come to expect."

In September 2020, Edgewater Markets announced the expansion of its technical team, with two senior hires joining the firm to meet the needs of client demand for the company’s modernised white label product offering. Mr. Abrahams will bring continued focus on the quality of Edgewater Market’s technical offering accommodating each client’s unique trading experience, workflow, and market access. Edgewater’s suite of proprietary electronic pricing technologies is operated out of LD4, NY4, TY3 and AWS.

‘’Having held senior quality engineering roles, Jonathan brings a wealth of experience, and leadership in quality assurance engineering, computer science, and applied mathematics, spanning over 20 years working for top technology firms,” commented Brian Andreyko, Edgewater’s Chief Product Officer. “We are thrilled to add such high-quality talent to Edgewater’s global technical team as we continue to bring the latest in technical advances to help our clients to optimise their trade flows.”

“I am excited to join Edgewater,” commented Abrahams. “Their innovative client solutions leverage cutting-edge technological advancements, and I am looking forward to be a part of pioneering and talented team of professionals.”

Other hires for Edgewater in the past 12 months include Bryan Andreyko as Chief Product Officer (from TradAir) in March 2020; Leo Furze-Waddock as Senior Full Stack Developer, and Pietro Carrieri as Senior C++ Developer in September; and more recently, James Oliver as Director of Precious Metals Sales in London in December 2020.
