Edgewater Markets Hires James Oliver as Director of Precious Metals Sales in London

December 1, 2020 - FX and Precious Metals technology provider Edgewater Markets has announced today the appointment of James Oliver as Director of Precious Metals Sales, based out of Edgewater's London office.

The hiring of Mr Oliver for Edgewater comes on the back of a recently announced significant increase in Precious Metals trading volumes at the firm. In August 2020, Edgewater announced that trading volumes had reached over 500m USD of Spot Gold and Silver executed daily. Mr. Oliver will be focusing on the continued expansion and distribution of Edgewater’s bullion transactions and partnerships across its suite of electronic pricing technologies, operating out of LD4, NY4, TY3 and AWS.

James Oliver brings a wealth of industry experience in OTC and derivative based metals sales, and trading, spanning over 20 years.Immediately prior to joining Edgewater, Mr Oliver was Precious Metals specialist at EBS NEX Markets for over 5 years. Prior to that role, he was at CME Group for just over 6 years in a similar role.
