May 02, 2022 - Invast Global has appointed Harry Fry as Director of Prime Services joining the firm in Sydney, after 5 years with Finalto in London. Fry started his career in financial services for Selftrade, then joined JPMorgan where his career lead him to the role of Oversight Analyst.
He subsequently moved to Finalto’s Institutional Business Development team where he worked closely with the institutional sales team to expand the business and maintain existing relationships. Harry Fry, Invast Global's new Director of Prime Services, commented on his mew appointment, “My previous roles have always been client servicing, from technical and trade support to account management and business development. The support roles helped me understand the business from all aspects, especially when it came to back office solutions and platforms. I brought this knowledge to my Business Development role, providing a great advantage when selling and assisting clients. Most importantly, my previous roles allowed me to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. I am confident I can do the same at Invast Global."
Harry’s wealth of experience and skillset is a natural fit to Invast Global’s team according to James Alexander, Chief Commercial Officer at Invast Global, “Harry’s strong analytical background will help our clients’ complex technical challenges, keeping them focussed on growing their own businesses. Harry will add to our depth of experience in the Prime Services team and our commitment to APAC.”
Gavin White, Invast Global’s CEO added, “We are very excited to have Harry join the team. We have some distinct advantages in the current environment that I know Harry will be able to leverage. This is an opportunity for both Harry and Invast Global. He is a crucial hire to ensure we can continue to deliver our high-touch bespoke service to our valued clients and deliver on our strategic vision to be the Number one Prime of Prime and our clients first choice as a liquidity partner.”
Fry concurs, “I’m looking forward to having exposure to the APAC market. The market continues to expand and the growth will certainly bring opportunities with it. I’m also excited to be joining a highly motivated team. After the conversations I have had with Gavin and James it’s clear the company has great ambitions. Although a lot of firms are still adjusting to the current economic environment, I have no doubt 2022 will be a successful year for Invast Global.”
Invast also announced in April that it had hired Matt Harris from Credit Suisse, also as Director of Prime Services, to work in the firm's Sydney's office.
