Institutional liquidity provider Argamon Group is preparing to launch Afterprime 2.0, a retail CFD trading platform rebuilt to operate on institutional-grade infrastructure.
The new version of Afterprime is being developed on Argamon’s expanded trading network in New York and London. It will feature direct Tier-1 connectivity, a multi-prime broker system designed to avoid single-provider dependency, and smarter order routing aimed at reducing conflicts of interest.
Argamon says these changes will provide retail traders with broader liquidity access and improved execution quality, reflecting standards usually reserved for institutional clients.
According to the company, Afterprime 2.0 represents a structural rebuild rather than a cosmetic update. The platform will run on the same framework Argamon uses to serve banks, funds, and brokers. Retail traders will have access to faster execution speeds across asset classes, broader liquidity, conflict-free infrastructure, and enhanced stability via hubs in New York and London.
To support the launch, Argamon has partnered with technology provider Centroid Solutions, integrating its bridge and risk management suite into the new setup. This integration is designed to ensure seamless connectivity across Tier-1 venues and extend reach into FX, CFDs, crypto, indices, and commodities.
Founded in 2016, Argamon has focused on liquidity optimisation and managing prime broker relationships for institutional clients. The Afterprime brand extends this expertise into the retail market.
In a statement, the company said:
“Afterprime 2.0 is about giving retail traders the same backbone and transparency institutions take for granted. We’re rebuilding the trading experience from the ground up—faster, fairer, and fully aligned with client success.”
— Argamon Group
Full details of the rollout will be announced in the coming weeks.
