Global brokerage firm EXANTE has connected its trading infrastructure to Bloomberg's Execution Management System (EMS), enabling institutional clients to execute trades via Bloomberg's EMSX terminal platform.

The integration allows EXANTE's clients to trade directly through their Bloomberg terminals by connecting to EXANTE's FIX bridge, streamlining workflow for professional traders who rely on Bloomberg's market data and execution tools.

Initially, the connection will support market and limit orders for equities, including ETFs and preferred shares. EXANTE indicates it may expand to additional asset classes and order types based on client demand.

"We are excited to announce that our clients can now trade directly through the Bloomberg Terminal, one of the most trusted and recognised tools in the financial industry," said EXANTE Co-Founder Gatis Eglitis. "This integration with Bloomberg's leading Execution Management System enhances our ability to offer access to 100 global markets and over a million instruments across eight asset classes. It reflects our unwavering commitment to innovation and providing the best possible trading experience for our clients."

The move expands Bloomberg EMSX's broker network while giving EXANTE's institutional clients access to Bloomberg's execution algorithms and analytics. Bloomberg's EMS is widely used by buy-side traders for its multi-asset execution capabilities and integration with Bloomberg's data and analysis tools.

EXANTE, which provides trading access to over 50 global markets through a single multi-currency account, joins a growing list of brokers connecting their infrastructure to major execution management systems as institutional traders seek to consolidate their trading workflow.

Bloomberg's EMSX is part of the company's suite of financial technology solutions that serve the global financial community. The system is integrated into Bloomberg Terminal, which provides real-time financial market data, news, and trading tools to financial professionals.
