Financial technology provider Devexperts has launched a customisable single-dealer platform aimed at helping institutional firms modernise their legacy trading systems without extensive internal development costs.
The new DXtrade Institutional offering marks a departure from the company's traditional white-label solutions, instead focusing on tailored development that builds upon clients' existing platforms. The multi-asset solution supports OTC instruments spot, forwards, swaps and options trading while providing direct trade execution capabilities, with an initial focus on FX and Digital Asset products.

Nick Mortimer, Institutional Business Development, Devexperts
"This is the first DXtrade product we have launched that is not an off-the-shelf solution, but built specifically for each customer, offering a tailored solution that builds on and improves their existing software and meets firms' unique operational needs," said Nick Mortimer, Institutional Business Development at Devexperts.
The platform includes pre- and post-trade risk controls and flexible deployment options, with the company emphasising ongoing support through a dedicated development team.

Anthony Mervin, Vice President, Devexperts
Anthony Mervin, Vice President at Devexperts, highlighted the importance of sustained client relationships: "The standout aspect of DXtrade Institutional is that it comes with a dedicated team offering deep institutional trading software development expertise. Devexperts focuses on building long term relationships with its customers, meaning firms will have ongoing access to this expertise, as well as support to ensure software is maintained and optimised, both in the short and long term."

Jon Light, Head of OTC Platforms, Devexperts
The platform aims to help banks, hedge funds, asset managers and market makers upgrade their technology infrastructure efficiently. Jon Light, Head of OTC Platform at Devexperts, said: "We developed DXtrade Institutional with a view to helping banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and market makers to ensure their technology is up-to-date and competitive, without the need to invest in internal development resources, which can be both time-consuming and costly."

Peter Snasdell, Senior Vice President, Devexperts
Peter Snasdell, Senior Vice President at Devexperts, added: "We are really pleased to be bringing our consultancy and custom development expertise to single-dealer firms, and believe DXtrade Institutional can offer a solution to those working with legacy systems that delivers strong, long-lasting, outcomes for optimised user experience and robust return on investment."
