Eddid Financial, a prominent player in Hong Kong’s fintech sector, is expanding its footprint in the city’s virtual asset market by enhancing liquidity services and moving into real-world asset (RWA) offerings.

The company has developed its virtual asset market-making business to provide professional and institutional investors with continuous, secure liquidity for virtual asset trading. Using its proprietary platform and working closely with licensed virtual asset exchanges in Hong Kong, including HashKey Exchange, Eddid Financial has contributed to greater market depth. The firm’s approach is underpinned by a robust risk management framework and advanced technology, which has garnered it significant industry recognition.

In line with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission’s (SFC) policy to strengthen market liquidity, Eddid Financial is now focusing on the RWA sector. The SFC’s “A-S-P-I-Re” roadmap, which stands for Access, Safeguards, Products, Infrastructure, and Relationships, aims to create a more resilient virtual asset ecosystem. Central to this initiative is the goal of sustainable liquidity, broader market participation, modernised infrastructure, and a diversified product landscape.

Responding to these regulatory developments, Eddid Financial is actively developing RWA solutions. The company is working on digitising traditional physical assets and integrating them into the blockchain ecosystem. This process is designed to unlock new use cases for virtual assets, increasing both liquidity and transparency. Eddid Financial is investing in research and development with plans to introduce market-making and distribution services for tokenised real estate, bonds, and other tangible assets in the near future.

“The combination of virtual asset market-making and RWA services will serve as a key driver of innovation and sustainable growth in Hong Kong’s financial markets. Diversified RWA products not only expand investors’ asset allocation options but also improve overall market efficiency and risk management. This strategy aligns perfectly with the government’s push for greater market liquidity and fintech innovation, injecting new vitality into Hong Kong’s position as a global financial hub,” said Dr. Ricky Yeung, Head of Virtual Asset at Eddid Financial.

Eddid Financial is positioning itself as a full-service brokerage and fintech innovator, focusing on integrating resources, advancing technology, and driving product innovation. The firm’s initiatives are intended to reinforce Hong Kong’s status in the global digital asset sector while offering increased value to investors.
