Interactive Brokers Adds Ljubljana Stock Exchange to Its Global Trading Platform

Interactive Brokers has expanded its market reach by providing access to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, enabling clients to trade Slovenian equities alongside financial products from more than 160 other global exchanges through a single unified platform.
The addition of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange enhances Interactive Brokers' already extensive European market coverage and provides investors with new opportunities in Central Europe. Clients can now incorporate Slovenian stocks into their investment portfolios as part of their diversification strategies.
Milan Galik, Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Brokers, commented: "Interactive Brokers continues to expand its market coverage to meet the needs of global investors. Adding access to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange allows our clients to explore investment opportunities in Central Europe and further diversify their portfolios with a seamless trading experience."
The Ljubljana Stock Exchange represents Slovenia's principal securities market and this addition further strengthens Interactive Brokers' comprehensive European offering, which already spans major markets across the continent.
Clients trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange will benefit from Interactive Brokers' characteristic competitive pricing structure, which includes low commissions and margin rates, alongside high interest paid on cash balances. The company's trading technology provides access through web, mobile, and desktop platforms, with real-time market data, news, risk management tools, and institutional-grade research.
Interactive Brokers, which is listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker IBKR, serves clients in over 200 countries and territories worldwide. The broker supports account funding and trading in up to 28 currencies, making it particularly suitable for international investors seeking exposure to multiple markets, including now Slovenia's capital markets.
