ION's Fidessa Platform Wins BSE Approval for Algo Trading

ION has secured registration as an Independent Software Vendor for algorithmic trading on BSE, formerly known as the Bombay Stock Exchange, enabling exchange members to deploy algorithmic trading through its Fidessa platform.
The approval marks ION's second major certification from BSE, following its registration as an equities trading vendor in June 2024. The development comes as algorithmic trading accounts for more than 55% of all trades across India's markets.
BSE has validated that the algorithmic suite within ION's Fidessa platform meets its exchange rules, regulatory requirements and risk management standards. The platform offers real-time monitoring capabilities and workflow automation tools designed to streamline trading operations.
"As a registered vendor on BSE, ION now offers seamless access to advanced algorithmic trading capabilities, fully integrated within the Fidessa trading platform. India remains a key strategic market for ION and this empanelment enhances our ability to meet the region's evolving needs.
