February 06, 2024 - LMAX Exchange, the leading institutional FX exchange, has integrated with 4OTC's low-latency Libre Liquidity Bridge, enhancing its connectivity services for Digital Assets and FX. This partnership provides Liquidity Providers on the LMAX Exchange platform with ultra-low latency streaming of FX liquidity across its global execution venues.
The integration with Libre allows LMAX Exchange venues, including those in London (LD4), New York (NY4), Singapore (SG1), and Tokyo (TY3), to optimise connectivity management, bolster liquidity, and expedite the onboarding process for new Liquidity Providers.
Daniel Karakanna, Head of Liquidity Management and Analytics, EMEA, at LMAX Exchange, said, "Across all our exchanges the quality and depth of liquidity are key. The connectivity with 4OTC’s Libre service will enable more Liquidity Providers to price on LMAX Exchange execution venues, as well as leverage our distribution scale and global exchange infrastructure."
4OTC, which addresses connectivity challenges in FX and Digital Asset markets, offers the Libre service to provide robust co-located connectivity. It enables seamless interaction among multiple Liquidity Providers and trading venues.
Mark Price, Co-Founder of 4OTC, commented on the partnership, "LMAX Exchange is recognised for its industry leading proprietary exchange technology. Liquidity Providers making firm prices need consistent and predictable low latency and Libre has been architected to match these requirements. 4OTC is a specialist in ultra-low latency connectivity, which, combined with LMAX’s focus on performance, makes a great match for the Libre service. We look forward to continuing this successful partnership."
4OTC is a London-based FinTech, providing technology to address the challenges faced by trading desks and Brokers in the Digital Asset and FX markets. It has three products for firms trading Digital Assets and FX. 1API, which manages connectivity for market data and execution. TicketLounge, which enables post trade automation by providing a robust and reliable infrastructure. Libre, which provides co-located connectivity to multiple Liquidity Providers and venues.
