Web3 infrastructure provider Polkadot has launched Polkadot Capital Group, a new capital markets-focused division aimed at building institutional engagement with the blockchain ecosystem.
The division has been established in response to increased institutional demand and greater regulatory clarity in the United States. Its remit is to connect traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure, providing institutions with educational resources, insights, and access to opportunities across the Polkadot network.
Polkadot Capital Group will serve asset managers, allocators, banks, exchanges, OTC trading firms and venture capital participants. The team combines backgrounds in traditional finance, digital assets, and enterprise technology.

David Sedacca, Founder, Polkadot Capital Group
"Our goal is to lead through data-driven education, driving adoption through knowledge transfer, and adapting in real-time to the dynamic priorities of institutional market participants. We envision a future where institutions clearly understand the unique value of our network and can engage confidently."
"We are structuring strategic partnerships with brokers, asset managers, and capital allocators emanating from our vision of providing clear, credible, and actionable resources."
— David Sedacca, Polkadot Capital Group Lead
The group’s offerings will include information on both centralised and decentralised exchange technologies, as well as examples of real-world asset tokenisation, staking, and decentralised finance applications.
Polkadot Capital Group is headquartered in the Cayman Islands, with its core team based in North America and London. It will focus on developing educational resources, data, and frameworks to support institutional exploration of blockchain-based financial instruments and settlement mechanisms.

A liquidity bridge is the technology that sits between your trading platform and your liquidity providers, handling all order routing and price streaming in real time. Without a correctly configured bridge, an A-book or hybrid broker cannot route client orders to the market, cannot manage hedging effectively, and cannot control execution quality. Despite being the most operationally critical piece of brokerage infrastructure after the trading platform itself, the liquidity bridge is also one of the least understood - particularly among brokers who inherited a setup without knowing exactly how it was built. This guide explains what a bridge does, how it works technically, and why its configuration directly determines the quality of execution your clients experience.
