Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK is organised by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and Invest Hong Kong, and co-organised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Securities and Futures Commission and the Insurance Authority, with Finoverse as appointed event organiser. The 2026 edition runs under the theme "Fintech Nexus: Bridging the World, Building the Future". The main conference and exhibition take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 2 and 3 November, with more than 100 community events hosted at multiple venues across the rest of the week. The programme spans 10 forums covering policy, digital assets and Web3, AI and DeepTech, AI in finance, China-global innovation, insurtech and healthtech, greentech, founders and startup ventures, tech builders and creators.
Organisers cite 45,000-plus attendees from over 120 economies, 1,000-plus speakers, 800-plus sponsors, exhibitors and startups, and 30-plus Chinese Mainland and international delegations. The Global Fast Track programme semi-finals and grand finale run during the main conference. Sessions are conducted primarily in English, with selected Mandarin and bilingual sessions. For payments firms, digital asset infrastructure providers and trading technology vendors targeting Greater China and wider APAC, this is the principal Q4 business development event in the region.
