Financial markets infrastructure provider Beeks Financial Cloud Group has taken a strategic minority stake in AI trading technology business OmniPhi, with plans to offer its technology through Beeks’ infrastructure.
The partnership, announced on 19 October, will support deployment in colocation facilities or on customers’ premises. Beeks said the approach would allow financial institutions to adopt AI while retaining control of sensitive market data and trading strategies.
OmniPhi is operated by San Francisco-based Algoriphi, Inc., a Delaware-incorporated company. Its platform brings together AI-assisted market research, trading-strategy development, historical backtesting and broker-connected execution.
Users can describe a trading strategy in ordinary language, develop its rules, test it against historical data and configure risk controls before approving execution through a connected broker. The aim is to bring those stages into one workspace, reducing the need to move between separate research, coding, testing and trading tools.
OmniPhi’s platform is non-custodial: it does not hold or withdraw users’ funds. It provides the tools for developing and deploying strategies, with execution connected to users’ brokerage accounts.
The commercial fit is between OmniPhi’s trading software and Beeks’ infrastructure for financial markets. Institutions adopting AI tools need somewhere to run them, alongside their market data and trading systems.
By supporting deployment within colocation facilities or customers’ own premises, the proposed offering addresses the question of where sensitive information and strategy logic are processed. For Beeks, it creates an opportunity to supply additional infrastructure to existing clients and attract institutions investing in AI.
Beeks has not disclosed the investment amount, ownership percentage or named customers for the planned service. Its announcement also does not specify which OmniPhi capabilities will be included in the institutional offering.
The AI service is scheduled for Q3 FY27, alongside Beeks Global Network, a new connectivity offering that will be available independently of its hosting products.
Beeks also reported approximately $4 million of Exchange Cloud contract extensions in Q1 FY27.
Gordon McArthur, Chief Executive Officer of Beeks, said: “Our network launch and partnership with OmniPhi directly address needs we see in our conversations with financial institutions.”
