DIGITEC strengthens its London team with two strategic hires

July 13, 2023 -DIGITEC, a global leader in FX Swaps and NDF pricing and data, is continuing to expand its London team, announcing the appointment of Errol McKenzie and Asim Ahmed. This development follows the company's establishment of its London office in June 2021, signifying its commitment to maintaining proximity to London-based bank clients and numerous regional FICC trading hubs.

Errol McKenzie, a veteran with three decades of experience in high-profile multinational firms, joins DIGITEC as Head of Customer Service and Success. He will be directly reporting to Stephan von Massenbach, the company's Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to this, McKenzie served as the global operations team leader for optimisation at CME Group. His resume also includes stints as the Head of Global Services at Traiana and as a Partner at Deloitte.

Asim Ahmed, another industry veteran with 17 years of expertise in service, governance, and project management, is joining DIGITEC as a Service Level Manager. Ahmed will be reporting to McKenzie in his new role. Before joining DIGITEC, he managed business-critical services within complex corporate ecosystems at Three, where he served as Service Level Assurance Manager. He also previously worked with Hue Global Solutions and Ericsson.

Peer Joost, CEO of DIGITEC, underlines the significance of these appointments, saying, “As we continue to add bank clients and develop new products, it is important that we provide the highest levels of support by investing in experienced and highly skilled people working in Customer Service and IT Services. Hiring for these roles in London brings us closer to our clients and new prospects, which is key to DIGITEC’s future growth plans.”

Stephan von Massenbach, CRO of DIGITEC, echoed Joost's sentiments, saying, "I am delighted to welcome Errol and Asim to our growing team in London. Having local expertise enables us to enhance our service levels and capture the market’s future requirements, while having the full support and expertise which DIGITEC has built over the last 40 years from Germany."

With a foundation in FX Swaps technology and data, DIGITEC has over 40 bank clients globally, including more than 50% of the Euromoney Top 50 FX trading firms.
