FXTRADING.com Appoints Adam Robert Phillips as Chief Executive Officer

FXTRADING.com, a multi-asset broker headquartered in Sydney, has appointed Adam Robert Phillips as its new chief executive officer.
 

Phillips brings over 25 years of experience in institutional trading, prime brokerage relationships and multi-asset investment management. Throughout his career, he has established and managed over $74 million in institutional mandates in foreign exchange and futures trading under Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) classifications, executing over $2 billion in trades monthly through tier 1 prime brokers including UBS, Deutsche Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank and Société Générale.
 

Most recently, Phillips served as managing director of Yellowfin Asset Management Pty Ltd, where he provided portfolio and trading solutions to wholesale clients and institutional investors across foreign exchange, derivatives and securities markets. Before that, he was managing director of Blue Fin Capital Pty Ltd, where he secured and managed institutional mandates from major global financial institutions such as Toronto Dominion Bank, FourWinds Capital Management ($42 million mandate) and Green Cross Capital. His responsibilities spanned prime brokerage set-up, portfolio construction, risk management, regulatory compliance and the execution of complex strategies across the COMEX, CME, LIFFE, EUREX and ICE exchanges.

Phillips holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Financial Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA). He is a registered representative of the Sydney Futures Exchange, an associate member of the National Futures Association (NFA ID 0421979) and holds FINRA Series 3 certification.
