IG Group Holdings has appointed Virgin Money UK CFO Clifford Abrahams as its new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, effective 16 December 2024.
Abrahams joins from Virgin Money UK plc where he has served as Group CFO since 2021. His previous roles include Group CFO positions at ABN AMRO Bank and Dutch insurer Delta Lloyd Group. Earlier in his career, he worked at Morgan Stanley's Financial Institutions Group as Managing Director and spent ten years in senior finance roles at Aviva.
Mike McTighe, Chairman of IG Group said: "Following a comprehensive search process, I am pleased to welcome Clifford to the Board as our CFO. He brings extensive international experience and a strong track record of leading high‐performing teams."
