Partior, the blockchain-based clearing and settlement network, and LSEG Digital Settlement House (DiSH) have announced a strategic collaboration to bring always-on settlement bank liquidity to Partior's global cross-border payments network.
Working alongside a number of banks, the firms are developing a Multi-Settlement Bank (MSB) solution that combines the reach of correspondent banking with the speed and efficiency of digital settlement, facilitated through LSEG DiSH trust accounts.
The combination of LSEG DiSH's omnibus trust account framework with Partior's Multi-Currency Clearing and Settlement Network is designed to enable 24/7 movement of settlement liquidity across multiple settlement banks, allowing participating banks to optimise liquidity in real time, reduce dependence on payment cut-off times and minimise the need for pre-funded bilateral nostro relationships.
The target design creates 24/7 liquidity management without the need to open nostro/vostro accounts, an avenue for infrastructure-level collaboration between banks to deliver a unified corporate client experience, a flexible payments framework with enhanced visibility and global reach, and the removal of interbank friction. It also lays the foundations for adding PvP and DvP settlement, including for intraday FX and intraday repo.
Partior, LSEG and the participating banks are currently undergoing industry testing, paving the way for production go-live and commercial onboarding of additional settlement banks from Q1 2027.

Andrew Williams, Chief Executive Officer, Post Trade Solutions, LSEG said:
"LSEG DiSH provides the neutral, trusted third-party option required to connect independent payment ecosystems securely with the potential to do so at scale. By adding our omnibus trust account option with Partior's clearing scheme, we enable participating banks to instantly manage settlement liquidity 24/7 without the need for direct bilateral account and proprietary digital system integration."
Humphrey Valenbreder, Chief Executive Officer, Partior said:
"Partnering with market infrastructure like LSEG DiSH unlocks immediate, tangible value for our customers today. By bringing a live settlement liquidity option for our bank users directly into Partior, we eliminate legacy nostro friction and offer a proven, production-ready blueprint for the rest of the global banking community to join."

Oliver Harris, Global Head of Kinexys, J.P. Morgan commented:
"Interoperability between institutional platforms is essential for real-time market infrastructure. As we continue to collaborate with Partior, bringing LSEG DiSH into the ecosystem enables settlement banks and Kinexys Blockchain Deposit Account clients to transact seamlessly 24/7. This is a vital step in expanding global liquidity rails across both digital and legacy systems."
Patricia Sullivan, Global Head of Institutional Cash Management, Deutsche Bank said:
"We are actively pushing the boundaries of commercial bank money settlement to deliver tangible liquidity efficiency. By removing the need for pre-funded nostro/vostro accounts outside standard operating hours, this multi-settlement bank framework will allow us to execute cross-border transactions and optimise liquidity 24/7 for our clients."
Mark Willis, Global Head of Emerging Payments, Standard Chartered said:
"As a founding shareholder, Standard Chartered works closely with Partior to advance cross-border payments and settlement. Interoperability is key to unlocking next-generation payments infrastructure–the partnership between Partior and LSEG DiSH connects complementary market infrastructures, improving liquidity management and supporting cross-border payments in an always-on global economy."
