Scope Prime, the institutional liquidity arm of Rostro Financial Group, has announced the appointment of Lochlan White as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The move comes as part of the company's ongoing efforts to expand its global sales teams and strengthen its position in the institutional liquidity market. White will be based in Limassol, Cyprus.
White brings over a decade of experience in institutional liquidity, having worked in both Australia and Europe for 26 Degrees (formerly Invast Securities). His appointment follows a series of senior hires made by Scope Prime in recent months, including Andrew Taylor as head of APAC and Mirian Rostian as head of South East Asia.
Daniel Lawrance, CEO of Scope Prime, commented on the appointment: "In recent months we have been making a series of senior hires globally as we look to grow our institutional liquidity offering. Adding Lochlan as CCO will be instrumental in ensuring the team can operate within a robust framework, allowing even more institutional counterparties to connect with our liquidity pools in a seamless manner."
The company has indicated that further appointments across the globe are planned in the coming months as it continues to identify new growth markets.
Lochlan White, Scope Prime's new Chief Commercial Officer expressed enthusiasm about his new role: "The mission at Scope Prime to go out and actively develop new markets, is something that truly excites me. In addition to the full-service proposition, ranging from market data to execution, liquidity and reporting, it's the desire to push into new territories with innovative trading instruments that sets Scope Prime apart. I look forward to working with Dan and the team in the months and years ahead."
In his new position, White will work with Scope Prime teams globally to engage with counterparties seeking access to the company's liquidity portfolio, which currently covers more than 40,000 different assets, instruments, and markets.
