      Services: Flash Payments

      Flash Connect

Flash Connect is the institutional platform behind Flash Payments, delivered through GraphQL APIs or a web application. It brings collections, currency conversion and disbursement into a single integration, allowing payment service providers, fintechs, brokers and asset managers to offer local Australian payments and cross-border services under their own brand. As a Tier 2 non-ADI BECS processing member with its own BSB range, Flash Payments connects clients directly into Australian domestic rails rather than routing through a correspondent bank.

      Instant AUD settlement

Flash Payments moves Australian dollars over domestic bank rails rather than card rails, using the New Payments Platform, Direct Entry and PayTo direct debits. Funds land in near real time, giving payment companies, brokers and fund managers a fast and dependable route into and out of Australia. Collections run 24 hours a day and are aggregated into a single account with instant reconciliation, ready for immediate disbursement or batch settlement.

      Virtual Account Numbers

Fully addressable virtual accounts are provisioned in real time through the API, each connected to local rails and ready to receive funds the moment it goes live. Institutions can onboard and manage multiple sub-clients under a single setup, monitor balances, move funds between them and automate multicurrency positions in a few clicks. Named operational and client accounts can be created without limit.

      Cross-border FX and payouts

Flash Payments orchestrates cross-currency transfers with intelligent routing and real-time pricing, reaching more than 50 global destinations. The firm was Ripple's first Australian partner and the first in the market to use On-Demand Liquidity, and combines traditional and blockchain-enabled corridors to support real-time payments. Last mile payouts settle to local recipients under the client's own brand, while automated bulk disbursement supports multiple recipients simultaneously, including international and local withdrawals of up to 10,000 lines by CSV upload.

      Compliance, security and reporting

AML and KYC screening runs at onboarding and within the transaction flow, supported by AI and machine learning models for fraud detection. Confirmation of Payee validates beneficiary details before funds move, and IFTI-DRA regulatory reporting to AUSTRAC is generated automatically. Infrastructure is ISO 27001:2022 certified, with token expiry and cryptographic webhook signatures securing the API layer.
