Online trading broker AvaTrade has announced the launch of AvaFutures, a new futures trading platform targeted at retail traders. The platform went live today (June 24, 2024), and aims to simplify the process of futures trading for individual investors.
AvaFutures offers a streamlined account opening and funding process, allowing customers to begin trading quickly. The platform supports trading in various futures contracts, including Micro, E-mini, and Standard contracts across different asset classes such as indices, commodities, metals, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, and treasuries.
The new platform utilizes the MT5 trading software, providing users with advanced charting tools, automated trading capabilities, and free access to Level 2 market data. AvaTrade states that AvaFutures also includes educational resources designed for retail traders.
AvaTrade has partnered with CME Group to offer futures contracts on major indices and commodities. The company also collaborates with EUREX for European futures contracts and plans to expand its offerings in the future.
