Credit optimisation network Capitolis has appointed Melanie Carucci as Global Head of Sales. Carucci will report to Gil Mandelzis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capitolis, and will lead the company’s global sales strategy, execution and commercial growth while managing strategic client relationships.
Carucci has more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, commercial relationship management, product strategy and business development across financial technology and capital markets firms.
Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Account Management at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), where she was responsible for USD 1.1 billion in revenue across Capital Markets, Corporates and Banking client segments. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at London Stock Exchange Group, Refinitiv, Thomson Reuters and Thomson Financial, where she led global enterprise account management teams and worked directly with senior stakeholders to drive growth and long-term commercial partnerships.

Capitolis has expanded its business in recent months, launching new solutions, expanding its client network, attracting further strategic bank investment, and acquiring Capitalab—BGC Group’s rates compression and margin optimisation business—to enter the interest rate space. The company also recently appointed Amol Naik as Chief Operating Officer.
Carucci holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Clemson University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, specialising in Finance, Strategy and Global Business. She serves on the board of the Forte Foundation and has previously served on the board of the Women’s Bond Club.
Capitolis is a credit optimisation network that helps banks and financial institutions reduce counterparty exposures and optimise capital under SA-CCR and other regulatory frameworks.
