The promotion forms part of the firm's strategic focus on strengthening its leadership team to support its growth plans and drive new product development.
Darryl Hooker has more than 40 years of experience in the FX market and extensive knowledge of technology sales. In his new role, he will lead the growth of DIGITEC's commercial engine, managing global business development and sales strategy while expanding the firm's market presence.

Darryl Hooker's career includes serving as a private sector member of the first Global Foreign Exchange Committee (GFXC), as well as the Australian Foreign Exchange Committee (AFXC), the Canadian Foreign Exchange Committee (CFEC) and the ECB's Foreign Exchange Contact Group (FXCG). He was also chair of the International Ruble Settlement Forum, an initiative to adopt a real-time gross settlement system for that currency, and a member of the Public Affairs Committee at the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).
