Digital assets prime broker GCEX, has launched its XplorDigital trading app, now available for institutional and professional clients on the UK Apple App Store and globally on Google Play, with a global App Store rollout planned over the coming months.
The London-based firm said the app represents a significant development in providing professional traders, hedge funds, and institutional clients with trading solutions across forex, crypto, commodities and indices on mobile devices.
The XplorDigital app offers institutional-grade multi-asset trading capabilities, including comprehensive charting, technical analysis, and customisable interface features. The platform provides GCEX clients with access to trade and manage the firm's available products, subject to jurisdiction and account type restrictions.
"The launch of our XplorDigital app empowers our clients with flexibility, speed, and security, ensuring they can trade anytime, anywhere with confidence. This reinforces our commitment to providing best-in-class trading technology and access to deep liquidity," said Lars Holst, Founder & CEO of GCEX.
The app includes institutional-grade liquidity for multiple assets, seamless on-ramp and off-ramp functionality, low-latency execution, advanced charting and technical analysis tools, and what the company describes as a secure trading environment. The platform is also white-label ready for other firms.
GCEX operates under regulation across multiple jurisdictions and positions itself as bridging traditional finance with digital asset trading. The company was founded in 2018 and maintains partnerships with tier one liquidity providers and regulated digital custody institutions.
The XplorDigital app forms part of GCEX's broader XplorDigital trading solutions, which includes a 'Broker In A Box' white-label offering. This encompasses back office operations, risk management, credit utilisation, analytics, reporting, account management and a liquidity price engine providing access to tier one liquidity and connectivity to major price makers.
GCEX is regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, registered with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority as a Virtual Asset Service Provider and currency exchange, and holds a Virtual Asset Service Provider licence from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. The firm is headquartered in London with offices globally, and counts True Global Ventures among its investors.
