MultiBank Group Founder and Chairman Naser Taher has been named among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs 2026, recognising more than three decades of leadership across the global financial and commercial sectors.
Taher, who founded MultiBank Group ( @multibankgroup ) in California in 2005, has overseen the development of the business into an international financial services group operating across 100 countries.
The Group says it now serves more than two million institutional and retail clients and records daily trading volumes exceeding $35 billion.
The annual Forbes Middle East Top 100 CEOs ranking recognises senior executives leading some of the region’s most prominent organisations, assessing their influence, leadership and the scale and development of the businesses they oversee.
Taher’s career spans more than 37 years across the financial and commercial sectors.
Under his leadership, MultiBank Group has expanded its international regulatory footprint and today holds licences from more than 18 financial regulators across five continents.
The Group provides brokerage and asset management services covering markets including forex, metals, shares, commodities, indices and digital assets.

Taher has also held a number of roles outside MultiBank Group during his career.
He was appointed Head of the Irish Stock Exchange Development Projects in 2005 and Vice President of the Chinese Banking and Entrepreneur Association in 2008.
His subsequent positions included Honorary Chief Financial Advisor to the Chinese Government of Tianjin in 2013 and Senior Advisor to the Chinese Central Financial Government in 2016.
The Forbes Middle East recognition comes as MultiBank Group continues to expand its international operations and capabilities across both traditional and digital financial markets.
