StockGro, the Indian stock market education platform, has announced a partnership with Dubai Financial Market (DFM) to integrate live market data into its learning platform. The collaboration aims to improve financial literacy and increase retail investor participation in the UAE.
StockGro, which claims to be India's largest experiential learning platform for stock markets, will now offer UAE-based users access to real-time DFM data. The company's platform features over 100 licensed financial experts and provides risk-free educational tools for learning about financial markets.
Ajay Lakhotia, Founder and CEO of StockGro, stated, "Launching in UAE marks a significant milestone in our journey to make financial education accessible globally. With DFM's support, we are excited to empower lakhs of UAE-based investors to become financially free."
The Indian company reports having more than 35 million users in its home market and a presence in over 1,000 educational institutions. This move marks StockGro's first expansion into the UAE market.
Dubai Financial Market, established in 2000, serves as the UAE's primary stock exchange. It facilitates trading of various financial instruments, including stocks, government bonds, and investment fund units. In 2007, DFM became the first Islamic Shari'a-compliant exchange globally.
The partnership comes as part of broader efforts to increase financial awareness and stock market participation in the UAE region. By combining StockGro's educational platform with DFM's market data, the initiative seeks to provide investors with practical learning tools and real-time market information.
