XS.com has appointed Kasem Hekal as Senior Business Development Manager, based in Dubai, UAE.
The appointment reinforces the multi-asset broker's investment in senior commercial expertise, as XS.com looks to expand business opportunities and strengthen relationships with clients and partners from one of the world's key international financial centres.
In his new role, Kasem will focus on building a pipeline of business opportunities, deepening engagement with clients and partners, and identifying areas for further commercial development. Working closely with XS.com's commercial teams, he will contribute market insights and support targeted business initiatives aimed at turning prospective relationships into lasting collaborations.
Kasem brings more than 15 years of experience across financial services, including over a decade in FX and derivatives sales, account management, and business development. His career spans Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, where he has served high-net-worth and institutional clients, led sales teams, and developed strategies informed by market conditions and customer needs.
He has held senior sales and business development positions at Accuindex MENA, ATFX, and MultiBank Group, alongside earlier roles at GKFX and FXOpen. Before moving into client-facing commercial positions, he worked in financial operations and auditing, gaining an understanding of the operational discipline that underpins financial services. He holds an MBA in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
