April 13, 2021 - Online banking and Liquidity Provider Swissquote has partnered with Taurus for its digital asset infrastructure, using Taurus' full product suite.
Swissquote will use Taurus-ProtectTM as a secure storage solution to complement its existing set-up. In addition, Swissquote will use Taurus’ latest solution, Taurus-CapitalTM and will be able to tokenise and manage a wide range of digital assets as well as interact with any type of Ethereum smart contract. Both products leverage Taurus’ blockchain node infrastructure Taurus-ExplorerTM, which provides a unified API and reliable broadcasting algorithms to interface securely with multiple blockchain networks.
Paolo Buzzi, co-founder and Deputy CEO at Swissquote: “We are delighted to have found a very innovative partner in Taurus. With Taurus' products, we can offer our customers an expanded range of investment opportunities in the field of digital assets. I am also convinced that Taurus’ integrated product suite will help us achieve our ambitious goals in that area, in line with our growth strategy.”
Lamine Brahimi, co-founder at Taurus: “It’s a privilege to support Swissquote, a leader in digital banking, in implementing their growth strategy in digital assets. What makes me extremely proud is that we bring to Swissquote our latest innovation in the area of tokenised assets on top of our secure custody infrastructure. This will allow product teams to create or interface with any type of tokenised product. With the DLT law now in place, we are confident that the new wave of growth will be driven by private assets digitisation and tokenisation.”
