trademakers Launches ‘Quality Yield’: A Systematic Blended Income Strategy

trademakers is pleased to announce the launch of Quality Yield (QYSUSD), a fractionalised, systematic investment strategy designed to deliver enhanced risk-adjusted returns through a diversified blend of exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Quality Yield offers a differentiated alternative to traditional low-volatility, long-only fixed income allocations. By integrating multiple income-generating asset classes within a single framework, the strategy aims to balance yield generation with dynamic risk management.

At its core, the model employs a disciplined, rules-based process that evaluates constituents monthly using one-month relative momentum signals. Portfolio weights are adjusted accordingly, ensuring the strategy remains responsive to evolving market conditions. Exposure is implemented via liquid ETFs, with monthly rebalancing to maintain alignment with the model. All performance is measured on a total return basis.

The strategy currently allocates across three primary segments:

      • 1Medium-duration U.S. Treasuries (IEF)
      • 2Preferred and hybrid securities (PFF)
      • 3Covered call equity income strategies (RYLD)

This multi-asset approach is designed to enhance income potential while mitigating volatility through diversification and systematic allocation.

Adam Hill, Co-CEO at JP Fund Services, commented:
QYSUSD represents a compelling evolution in income-oriented investing, combining structural resilience with adaptive allocation. In partnership with trademakers, we are expanding access to institutional-grade, fractionalised strategies, enabling a broader range of investors to benefit from sophisticated portfolio construction.”

The introduction of QYSUSD further strengthens trademakers’ growing suite of systematic solutions, underscoring its commitment to delivering institutional-quality investment strategies, robust risk management, and innovative access to ETF-based exposures.

A liquidity bridge is the technology that sits between your trading platform and your liquidity providers, handling all order routing and price streaming in real time. Without a correctly configured bridge, an A-book or hybrid broker cannot route client orders to the market, cannot manage hedging effectively, and cannot control execution quality. Despite being the most operationally critical piece of brokerage infrastructure after the trading platform itself, the liquidity bridge is also one of the least understood - particularly among brokers who inherited a setup without knowing exactly how it was built. This guide explains what a bridge does, how it works technically, and why its configuration directly determines the quality of execution your clients experience.
