Webull Securities Co., Ltd., the Japanese subsidiary of Webull Corporation (NASDAQ: BULL), has started handling US Treasury bonds. The company is based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and its Representative Director is Hideki Mitsuka, Representative Director, Webull Securities Co., Ltd.
Customers can now invest in around 20,000 US Treasury bonds as of 30 October 2026. These sit alongside the stocks, ETFs and US stock options already available through Webull Securities.
The service uses a system that lets customers trade US bonds listed in the market, with real-time price movements, in a way similar to stocks. Bond trading is more commonly done over the counter (OTC), where securities companies quote prices to customers. Under the Webull Securities model, customers can instead check real-time prices and yields for each bond and trade using the same methods as for equities. The trading mechanism behind the service is patent pending.
Minimum investment starts at $100. Treasury bond purchases are often made in increments of $1,000, so the small-lot offering lowers the amount of capital needed to get started. Webull Securities said the lower entry point is aimed at first-time bond investors, those starting international diversification with a small amount of money, and investors building portfolios that combine bonds with stocks and ETFs.
The range goes beyond Treasuries. Customers can also choose investment-grade corporate bonds and other US dollar-denominated bonds, and can review details such as yield and maturity date before investing.
Webull Securities said it aims to give Japanese individual investors global investment opportunities through technology. It plans to keep expanding its lineup across stocks, ETFs, options and bonds.
Webull Corporation owns and operates Webull, a digital investment platform built on global infrastructure and AI technology. It operates in 18 regions and serves retail investors in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The Webull Group has over 29 million users globally.
Fees and other expenses apply when trading Webull Securities products. All investment products carry the risk of loss from price fluctuations, and investors may lose some or all of their funds. Margin, options and futures trading require margin or collateral, and losses can exceed the amount deposited.
