MIES, Switzerland, FIBA has announced a new global partnership with XTB, a prominent investment application. This agreement is set to run until December 2027, significantly enhancing FIBA’s commercial framework in anticipation of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027.
As part of the partnership, the XTB investment app will support the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Qualifiers globally. Furthermore, XTB will serve as the presenting sponsor for the European Qualifiers, commencing with the third window from June 29 to July 7, 2026, which marks the initial major milestone of the collaboration.
XTB plans to offer exclusive experiences for its community, including behind-the-scenes access and opportunities to visit the official courts in Berlin and Doha. These initiatives aim to foster a deeper connection between fans and the premier stages of international basketball.
