      About this event

Japan Fintech Week 2027 runs from 24 February to 5 March 2027, according to Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA). It is a programme of independently organised conferences, symposia, workshops, start-up pitches, roundtables and receptions at venues across Tokyo and other Japanese cities, each with its own registration.

The week is organised by the FSA with the Fintech Association of Japan and was first held in 2024. The FSA reports that the 2026 edition drew around 20,000 participants from more than 70 countries and regions across 63 related events. Its main conference, FIN/SUM 2026, co-organised by the FSA and Nikkei Inc., recorded more than 4,300 visitors at the Marunouchi Building and Mitsubishi Building in Tokyo.

The audience includes financial institutions, start-ups, investors and regulators. FIN/SUM 2027 dates and venue have not yet been announced; GFTN Forum, Japan 2027 is listed for 24–26 February 2027 in Tokyo. Supporters of the 2026 edition included Nomura, Seven Bank, Digital Asset, DeCurret, TIS, the Bank of Japan, JPX and Bloomberg.
