Jersey-regulated Money Services Business Bloomsbury Money has appointed Chris Clarke as head of compliance, as the firm continues to expand its operations in St. Helier.
Clarke joins from financial services group Oak Group, where he built a reputation for regulatory leadership and risk management within the Jersey market. In his new role he will oversee the firm's regulatory affairs, AML/CFT/CPF frameworks and internal governance, with accountability to the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Michael Siwek, co-founder of Bloomsbury Money, said the appointment reflected the firm's need for senior compliance capability as it scales its product offering.
