Clearstream Appoints Philippe Mueller As Head Of Digital Products And Transformation For Fund Services

      Published: just now

      Clearstream and Philippe Mueller

Clearstream, the post-trade business of Deutsche Börse Group, has appointed Philippe Mueller as Head of Digital Products and Transformation for Clearstream Fund Services, effective immediately.

Mueller will lead the strategic development and market adoption of Clearstream’s digital fund solutions, which are aimed at connecting traditional and digital financial markets. His remit covers digital fund distribution, distributed ledger technology (DLT)-enabled fund processing, transfer agency innovation and private markets automation. He will work with asset managers, distributors, custodians and wealth management firms, with a focus on greater efficiency, connectivity and transparency across the investment fund ecosystem.

Mueller succeeds Olivier Portenseigne, who is pursuing a new opportunity outside the organisation.

Mueller has more than 25 years of experience across Clearstream and Deutsche Börse Group, covering fund operations, product management, market infrastructure and large-scale digital transformation. Since 2022, he has served as Executive Director and Head of Transformation Office & Digital, where he led enterprise-wide digitalisation, delivery discipline and the strategic integration of FundsDLT into Clearstream Fund Services. His earlier roles include head of Issuer CSD Services, where he initiated next-generation digital issuance solutions, and Head of Investment Fund Operations & Client Onboarding. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of LuxCSD and as a Non-Executive Board Member of Origin Markets and the Luxembourg Capital Markets Association (LuxCMA).
