CME Group is to launch Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures on 19 October, subject to regulatory review.
The launch extends CME Group's cryptocurrency derivatives suite, in response to client demand for institutional-grade risk management tools across high-liquidity altcoin markets.
Market participants will be able to trade both larger and micro-sized contracts. Bitcoin Cash futures will be offered at 250 BCH per contract, alongside Micro Bitcoin Cash futures at 25 BCH. Uniswap futures will be offered at 10,000 UNI per contract, alongside Micro Uniswap futures at 1,000 UNI.

The new contracts add to CME Group's existing single-asset cryptocurrency product suite, which includes Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui futures.
In the first half of 2026, CME Group's cryptocurrency futures and options recorded an average daily volume of 279,800 contracts, equivalent to $8.3 billion in notional value, with average open interest of 264,600 contracts, equivalent to $15.4 billion in notional value. The 2026 expansion into Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui futures has contributed more than $1 billion in total notional value year to date.
Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures will be listed on and subject to the rules of CME.
