Cryptocurrency exchange Toobit has announced a partnership with Spain’s premier professional football league LALIGA, naming Toobit an Official Regional Partner for the MENA region.
The companies said the partnership aims to connect football fans with digital-asset education and engagement under the tagline “Play on a bigger stage”.
Mike Williams, Chief Communication Officer at Toobit, said the partnership is designed to deepen engagement with football fans and traders in MENA, with plans to provide educational resources and “secure access” to the crypto economy alongside match-related activations.
Toobit said planned promotions for the 2025/26 season include VIP trips to Spain for matchday experiences and giveaways of signed LALIGA jerseys and limited-edition memorabilia.
Jorge de la Vega, General Director of Business at LALIGA, said the league is looking for innovative ways to engage its MENA fanbase and described the partnership as an opportunity to explore new digital channels and bring the league closer to audiences in the region.
To celebrate the alliance, Toobit said it will launch campaign activations starting with “Super Match Carnival” and “Elite Championship,” featuring a combined prize pool described as nearly $2 million. The exchange said the campaigns include up to 150% cashback, tiered deposit bonuses up to 2,500 USDT, and mystery boxes that may contain signed jerseys and match tickets.
Toobit also cited Nielsen research suggesting football audiences over-index for interest in cryptocurrency compared with the general population.
