Financial services media group Finance Magnates will hold the 15th edition of its London summit at Old Billingsgate on 24 November 2026, with a reworked one-day format built around Business Connect meetings, invitation-only roundtables and two conference stages.
Finance Magnates Summit London returns to Old Billingsgate on 24 November 2026 for its 15th edition, with the organiser introducing a revised format for the 2026 event.
The summit runs under the theme "One Day. One Venue. One Industry." Finance Magnates says the new structure is designed around quality of contact rather than volume of attendance, concentrating the programme, the exhibition and the meeting schedule into a single day.
Alongside the conference itself, the organiser is running a strand it calls "Multiple Ways to Connect", which covers Business Connect meetings, invitation-only roundtables, networking sessions and side events.
The Venue
Old Billingsgate has hosted a number of previous editions of the summit. The Grade II listed former fish market on Lower Thames Street sits on the north bank of the river between London Bridge and the Tower, and has become the event's regular home.
London remains the largest centre for foreign exchange trading globally and a significant hub for fintech, payments and capital markets activity, which the organiser cites as the rationale for the location.
The Programme
The conference will run across two stages, Vision and Craft, combining panel debates, keynotes, masterclasses and practical sessions. Topics listed include artificial intelligence, stablecoins and digital assets, market structure, regulation, payments and customer acquisition.
The 2026 programme will also include a 15th Anniversary Session. Further speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are due to be announced over the coming months.
A pre-event Networking Blitz takes place on 23 November, the day before the main summit.
Registration and Commercial Opportunities
Registration has not yet opened. Prospective attendees can register their interest through the Finance Magnates Summit London website to receive updates.
Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are open, and the organiser is accepting speaker submissions from firms and individuals interested in joining the conference programme.
LiquidityFinder's view: The event last year was moved to a location in Greenwich and it was noticeable that the attendees had dropped, especially on the second day. Many people that LiquidityFinder spoke with at the event in 2025 were disappointed with the choice of location and will be happy that the venue is returning to its original place nearer the City. However, we are also receiving comments about the move to a one-day event this year. Maybe the second day's lack of attendance last year has made the organisers feel that a second day is not necessary?
The Walrus and Carpenter opposite the venue must have struggled in November last year without the usual large crowd at the end of the first day.
It is also a shame that the London event is in November, which never shows London at its best. A recommendation would be to move the summit to June or July, with longer summer evenings rather than being splashed by cars driving along the street as you try to cross over the road to get in to the Walrus and Carpenter. The inevitable rain does provide opportunities for firms to up their merch game and provide branded umbrellas, but there is a better and more cost effective opportunity for firms to offer branded fans to cool people down when it is hot!
For those based in London, it is always a bit sad to be representing the City in November rather than when it is hot during Spring or Summer.
