FlexTrade Systems, a global provider of multi-asset execution and order management systems, has integrated EDX Markets (EDX) into its crypto and digital assets trading solution, FlexDigitalAssets.
EDX is a digital asset technology firm that combines an institutional-only trading venue with a central clearinghouse. The integration gives institutional and hedge fund clients access to EDX's trading venue and central clearinghouse directly within FlexTrade's execution management system (EMS), creating a unified workflow for trading, execution and clearing.
Through the integration, EDX's market and central limit order book (CLOB) are delivered directly into the FlexDigitalAssets Order Blotter, allowing clients to access and interact with available liquidity in real time.
Clients can execute via click trading or API-based workflows, benefiting from full order book depth through FlexTrade's aggregated liquidity view. Traders can also use EDX's liquidity through FlexTrade's rules-based automation tool, FlexAlgoWheel, to build workflows that automatically route digital asset orders based on criteria such as order size, liquidity conditions or venue-specific pricing.
Tony Acuña-Rohter, CEO, EDX Markets
Tony Acuña-Rohter, CEO, EDX Markets said:
"Through this integration, we're extending access to our centrally cleared, institutional-grade venue through a platform already embedded in many global trading workflows. This powerful combination enables clients to benefit from enhanced price discovery, greater liquidity depth, and stronger execution performance."
Uday Chebrolu, SVP – FX and Digital Assets, FlexTrade commented:
"As institutional participation in digital assets evolves, our clients seek the same level of control, transparency, and efficiency they expect in traditional asset classes. By integrating EDX into FlexDigitalAssets, we enhance these capabilities, allowing firms to access institutional-grade liquidity and clearing within a unified trading environment. As digital assets increasingly move into the mainstream, this integration demonstrates our commitment to enabling our clients to trade all asset classes using a consistent set of tools, workflow and automation logic from a single platform."
