GCC Brokers Adds UAE CMA-Regulated Entity To Group Structure

      Published: just now

GCC Brokers, the FSC Mauritius-regulated forex and CFD broker, has announced that Growth Capital Connect Financial Services (GCCFS), an entity within the group, is now licensed by the UAE Capital Markets Authority (CMA), formerly known as the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). The licence is a Category 5 authorisation covering Introduction and Promotion.

Read more about the group at gccfs.com.

      What the Licence Covers

GCC Brokers said in a post published on 24 April 2026 that GCCFS operates under a recognised UAE regulatory framework. The Category 5 licence covers introduction and promotion activity. The company said this gives UAE-based clients a locally regulated entity within the group that operates under UAE law, is accountable to a UAE regulator and is subject to the compliance standards attached to the licence.

GCC Brokers Limited remains the group's main client-onboarding entity and is regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius. The company describes its model as true A-Book STP execution with full trade pass-through, with the interests of the broker and its clients aligned.

GCCFS adds a UAE regulatory layer to that structure. According to GCC Brokers, this gives clients and partners:

      • A regulated point of contact within the UAE

      • A local legal and compliance framework governing introductory and promotional activity

      • Oversight at more than one level of the group

The company said this is most relevant to institutional clients, introducing brokers (IBs) and professional traders who require regulated counterparties at each layer of the relationship.

      Why the UAE?

GCC Brokers pointed to the UAE's work over recent years on its financial services regulatory environment. The company said the CMA has tightened standards, increased enforcement and raised the requirements for firms operating in the local market, and that it chose to be licensed in a jurisdiction where compliance carries weight.

      What Changes for Clients

Clients based in the UAE now have a UAE-regulated entity within the group, alongside the FSC Mauritius-regulated onboarding entity. For clients outside the UAE, GCC Brokers said the licence adds to the overall standing of the group.

GCC Brokers said the execution model, spreads and A-Book STP structure are unchanged.
