When I first spoke with Youssef Bouz, Operations Manger at GCC Brokers, what stood out immediately was speed and follow-through. Within a few hours of our first call, his team had supplied everything needed to complete their listing on LiquidityFinder – documentation, marketing assets, the lot. To this day, GCC Brokers holds the record as the fastest broker to get onboarded on our platform.
Every interaction since has reinforced that first impression: fast responses, clear decisions and a real focus on service. Youssef and I share the same frustrations with large institutions and their chatbots, long phone menus and opaque processes that keep clients at arm’s length. GCC Brokers positions itself at the opposite end of that spectrum – with a service model built around responsiveness and, crucially, a 100% A-Book / agency execution model.
Founded in Dubai and grown out of a long-standing bullion business in the city’s Gold Souk, GCC Brokers has evolved into a multi-asset brokerage with international licences and a distributed team across the Middle East and Asia. The firm offers FX, metals, indices, commodities and crypto, with plans to expand further – but what really differentiates it is the way Youssef thinks about alignment between broker and client.
“Trust is the only real differentiator left,” Youssef told me during our conversation. For him, that means no internalising client risk, no profiting from client losses, and using regulation and technology as tools to build long-term credibility rather than short-term marketing headlines.
In our in-depth Broker Insights feature, we explore why GCC Brokers moved to a fully A-Book model, how Youssef thinks about regulation and licensing, and the role technology plays in scaling trust across different regions and client types.
