PrimeXBT Connects ChatGPT And Claude To Client Trading Accounts With MCP Launch

      Published: just now

Multi-asset broker and crypto asset service provider PrimeXBT has launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration that lets clients connect AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude directly to their trading accounts. Alongside it, the broker has introduced a new Trading API for algorithmic, quantitative and technically experienced traders.

Clients connect their chosen assistant using a single link and their PrimeXBT login, with no coding or API key configuration required. The integration is available on demo and live accounts on PXTrader 2.0, the broker’s own platform for CFDs and Crypto Futures.

PrimeXBT joins a growing number of brokers and technology providers connecting AI tools to trading accounts and infrastructure. In January, trading platform provider TraderEvolution Global released an MCP Server giving brokers and fintechs AI access to live trading and market data. In May, trading platform cTrader (@cTrader) launched cTrader AI Agent Connect, two official MCP servers that let traders connect AI apps such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI to the platform, and in August it added cTrader CLI, a command-line application for running trading and algo tasks through AI agents. In October, global FX and CFD broker Axi (@Axi) launched an MCP integration connecting eligible MT5 accounts to Claude.

Account Data And Order Preparation Through Chat

Through natural-language conversations, clients can monitor their accounts, view market prices and charts, review their trading history and check trading conditions. Answers are drawn from live account data and PrimeXBT’s built-in knowledge base, so questions about trading costs, leverage, margin requirements and platform rules are answered against the client’s own account.

The MCP also supports AI-assisted trade execution. Clients can prepare market, limit and stop orders and preview estimated prices, fees, margin requirements, leverage and liquidation levels, all calculated by PrimeXBT’s trading engine.

Trader Confirmation Required On Every Order

Every order requires explicit confirmation from the trader before it is executed. Clients can choose between Read-only and Read & Trade permissions, and the MCP does not allow withdrawals or fund transfers through AI assistants.

“AI has become part of everyday life, changing how people access information, use technology and make decisions. We believe trading should evolve in the same direction. With our MCP, we’re bringing real trading data and functionality into the AI assistants people already know and use, making trading more accessible, simplifying complex processes and giving traders greater flexibility in how they interact with markets, while keeping them in control. This is an important step towards a more connected and intuitive trading experience.” - Jonatan Randin, Senior Market Analyst, PrimeXBT

Trading API For Bots And Custom Tools

The MCP is built on PrimeXBT’s new Trading API, which lets clients connect their own trading bots, applications and external tools to PXTrader 2.0, automate strategies around the clock and access account and market data programmatically.

The API supports order and position management, custom dashboards and analytics. Security features include two-factor authentication, configurable permissions and optional IP restrictions. As with the MCP, deposits, withdrawals and fund transfers are not supported.

The launch is the latest in a series of updates to PXTrader 2.0, which combines CFD and Crypto Futures trading with fiat and crypto funding options and crypto-denominated accounts. In July 2025, the broker reduced Gold spreads and increased leverage across its MT5, PXTrader and Crypto Futures platforms.

Founded in 2018, PrimeXBT serves traders in more than 150 countries, offering Forex, CFDs on indices, commodities, shares and crypto, and Crypto Futures, as well as the ability to buy, store and exchange cryptocurrencies across PXTrader 2.0 and MetaTrader 5. The broker notes that its leveraged products carry a high risk of losing money rapidly and that it does not accept clients from its restricted jurisdictions.
