JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC has launched an enhanced private markets platform, extending its agency trading principles into private market transactions. The firm has appointed Jon Jefferies as Managing Director of Private Markets, tasked with leading and scaling the business.
The firm has built an institutional network over more than 50 years, engaging weekly with over 1,500 hedge fund, mutual fund, pension, ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients, supported by over 70 hybrid research and sales traders. JonesTrading is applying its public markets approach of dependability, speed, scale, trust and long-standing relationships to private markets execution.
The firm is leveraging its institutional distribution to provide liquidity in the private markets landscape.
