Jupiter Exchange Launches Jupiter Send For Simple Link-Based Token Transfers

Jupiter Exchange, Solana’s leading decentralised exchange (DEX) aggregator, has launched Jupiter Send, a service enabling users to transfer tokens via ‘magic links’ or QR codes.

The tool, previously available only on Jupiter Mobile, has already facilitated more than 100,000 transactions. Its expansion to the broader platform aims to reduce onboarding friction by allowing anyone to receive crypto without requiring a pre-existing wallet.

According to the exchange, senders pay only standard gas fees. Recipients can access tokens instantly by downloading the Jupiter Mobile app and clicking a link or scanning a code. If gifts remain unclaimed, they can be cancelled by the sender.

The exchange highlighted several use cases for the service, including gifting tokens, paying for goods and services, and new user onboarding. The near-zero cost model was described as supporting a wide variety of applications.

The process requires three steps: visiting jup.ag and clicking the Send tab, selecting a token and amount, and generating a link to share with the recipient.

Jupiter said the approach removes unnecessary complexity while retaining the benefits of blockchain settlement.

Jupiter Exchange is one of the largest decentralised trading platforms in the market, with more than one trillion dollars in lifetime volume. Originally conceived to connect Solana’s fragmented AMMs and order books, it has since expanded into perpetual trading, mobile applications, and now lending.
