Falcon Investment Management, a London-based multi-manager hedge fund platform, announced Wednesday the launch of a new fund offering select investors limited-time access to its exclusive investment platform.
The move comes as Falcon marks its 10th anniversary. The firm has positioned itself as a destination for emerging managers seeking independence and flexibility, providing institutional-grade solutions from operations and risk management to seed and accelerator capital.
Benny Menashe, Founder and Managing Partner of Falcon, explained the firm's approach: "We provide credit facilities to highly skilled investment teams. We partner with them by offering working capital while assuming a first-loss position, ensuring alignment with our investors and a commitment to long-term success."
The newly launched Cayman-domiciled fund opens up a hedge fund strategy previously reserved for large institutions. Due to high demand and limited capacity, Falcon is offering this opportunity for a limited time to a select group of investors, who will join as strategic partners.
Menashe described the fund's strategy: "We combine a private debt investment approach with a hedge fund-style strategy. Our sophisticated risk management and operational frameworks allow us to achieve high yields for our investors while maintaining low volatility and no correlation to other markets."
The open-ended fund aims to provide income opportunities with monthly distributions and quarterly liquidity, a unique structure in its class.
Falcon pioneered the first-loss concept for European managers in 2021, becoming one of the first UK-based alternative investment firms to do so. The firm now has partnership arrangements with investment teams globally, including in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, UK, and other locations. With institutional-grade resources, Falcon grants its partner managers unparalleled access to capital, operational infrastructure, and global distribution opportunities.
Established in 2014, Falcon Investment Management is authorised and regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority. The firm's hedge fund platform supports and invests in both early-stage and seasoned managers, providing access to capital, operational infrastructure, and global distribution opportunities.
