Matthias Zieschang And Tobias Vogel Re-elected As Chairmen Of Frankfurt Stock Exchange And Eurex Deutschland Exchange Councils

The Exchange Councils of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) and Eurex Deutschland have re-elected their respective chairmen following constituent meetings, with both councils having been elected in rotation at the start of December 2025.
 

Matthias Zieschang, Member of the Executive Board and Executive Director Controlling and Finance, Fraport AG, was re-elected as Chairman of the FWB Exchange Council, a position he has held since July 2020. Georg Stocker, Chief Executive Officer, DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale, was confirmed as Deputy Chairman, a role he has occupied since June 2021.
 

At Eurex Deutschland, Tobias Vogel, Chief Executive Officer and Head of Wealth Management, UBS Europe SE, was re-elected as Chairman of its Exchange Council. Vogel joined the council in 2023 and has served as its Chairman since then. Christoph Hock, Head of Tokenisation and Digital Assets, Union Investment, was confirmed as Deputy Chairman, having been a council member since January 2023 and elected to the deputy role in December 2023.

Both Exchange Councils were elected on 1 December 2025 for a three-year term of office. The FWB Exchange Council comprises 16 members, while the Eurex Deutschland council consists of 17 members. Both bodies serve as control and supervisory organs of their respective exchanges, with key responsibilities including the appointment and supervision of exchange management and the issuance of exchange rules and regulations.
 

Several new members joined the councils as part of the rotation. Joining the FWB Exchange Council are Dominik Heuer, Managing Director, Finovesta GmbH, and Tobias Löschmann, Member of the Management Board, Amundi Deutschland GmbH. Joining the Eurex Deutschland Exchange Council is Benon Janos, Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer, flatexDEGIRO AG.
