16 july 2018 - Milton Da Rocha has joined Quantic Prime, the prime of prime (PoP) broking unit of AFX Markets, as the senior vice president of institutional sales.
He will be responsible for eFX Sales and Relationship Management in Asia Pacific and Latin America. Da Rocha’s focus on Latin America will be aided by his ability to speak Spanish and Portuguese.
In these regions, he will be focusing on institutional customers such as banks, hedge funds, real money accounts and prop firms. Based in Sydney, Australia he will be selling FX Liquidity and offering PoP services.
Kickstarting his career in 2000, Da Rocha has eighteen years of experience in the forex industry. His first position was at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. where he worked in Derivatives Operations. Here he structured derivatives deals such as interest rates swaps.
Da Rocha joins the broker from Gleneagle Securities, a financial services group that provides advisory services in corporate advisory, equities, and asset management. Here he worked in institutional sales since May 2015. While working with the company Da Rocha was also responsible for eFX Sales and Relationship Management in the Asia Pacific area.
Da Rocha graduated from the University of Paulista, a private university in São Paulo, Brazil in 1997. Here he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. From there he did a graduate degree in Management at the University of Technology in Sydney between 2009-2010.
Quantic Prime Quantic Prime is a forex PoP broker. The company offers investors credit access to the market through Prime Brokers. The company was launched in 2017. At the time of launch, the company hired Arnaud Clerisse from HSBC, where he spent about ten years at the company’s FX desk.
Before this, Quantic Prime, also announced it had hired Lisa Murphy as COO. Murphy joined the team with substantial experience in the industry after spending over 15 years in foreign exchange trading.
