Navia Markets Ltd. has announced the launch of Navia Backup, an independent emergency-mode application designed to help clients square off open positions during rare system disruptions.
The application operates independently of Navia's primary trading infrastructure, including cloud-hosted applications, Order Management Systems (OMS), Risk Management Systems (RMS), and exchange leased-line connectivity.
Navia Backup enables clients to square off existing open positions across all segments at market price. The standalone application is available through the Navia App and Navia website for quick access during disruptions.
The company has designed the emergency solution with simplicity, independence, and resilience at its core, rather than replicating full trading functionality. Navia Backup operates outside Navia's core trading, risk, cloud, and connectivity systems.
The application has several key limitations. Placement of new orders is not supported. Holdings, margins, and market depth are not displayed. Only market-based square-off of existing open positions is available. The application does not replace Navia's primary OMS, RMS, or exchange systems and functions solely as an additional layer of risk mitigation.
To use Navia Backup, clients access it from the Navia App or Navia website using the Backup link. They log in by entering their Client Code, Date of Birth, and OTP, then square off open positions at market price. Execution and confirmation are subject to exchange processing, prevailing market conditions, and available liquidity, and may take a few minutes to reflect.

A liquidity bridge is the technology that sits between your trading platform and your liquidity providers, handling all order routing and price streaming in real time. Without a correctly configured bridge, an A-book or hybrid broker cannot route client orders to the market, cannot manage hedging effectively, and cannot control execution quality. Despite being the most operationally critical piece of brokerage infrastructure after the trading platform itself, the liquidity bridge is also one of the least understood - particularly among brokers who inherited a setup without knowing exactly how it was built. This guide explains what a bridge does, how it works technically, and why its configuration directly determines the quality of execution your clients experience.
