Muinmos, the RegTech firm specialising in AI-driven compliance, has appointed Paul Ford as an investor and adviser to its board, as the company looks to accelerate its next phase of growth.
Ford brings more than 25 years of financial and operational experience to the role, with a track record that spans senior positions at major financial institutions and the founding of two RegTech businesses.
He was most recently Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Acin, a London-headquartered RegTech and AI operational risk provider for the financial services sector. He built Acin over eight years before selling it to CUBE, an Hg portfolio company, in 2025. Prior to Acin, Ford founded Anchura Partners in 2010, an operational risk consultancy serving chief operating officers at major banks.
Before his entrepreneurial career, Ford held senior roles at several financial institutions, including Chief Operating Officer at Barclays Wealth, Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse, and Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he focused on building an e-trading and post-trade processing platform. He began his career as a Project Manager at Accenture, working on trading, clearing and settlement systems for capital markets, having previously served as a British Army Officer in the Royal Engineers.
Muinmos is an orchestrated AI agent platform covering know your customer (KYC), know your business (KYB), client classification, risk assessment, and lifecycle management. The company is experiencing what it describes as unprecedented demand for its services from financial institutions.
Remonda Kirketerp-Møller, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Muinmos
Remonda Kirketerp-Møller, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Muinmos said:
"Paul has extensive expertise in scaling businesses in our sector and we are very excited that he is joining our Board. Financial institutions are increasingly recognising the value that Muinmos delivers, from strengthening compliance and enhancing the client experience, to providing continuous due diligence throughout the client lifecycle. Our business is going from strength to strength, and with Paul's experience and strategic insight, we will accelerate our next phase of growth and set the global standard for AI-driven compliance."
Paul Ford, Investor and Board Adviser, Muinmos
Paul Ford, Investor and Board Adviser, Muinmos commented:
"I have always enjoyed working in the RegTech space, so joining Muinmos as both an adviser to the Board and investor was a compelling opportunity. Several aspects of the business strongly resonated with me, from its data-first approach through to the clarity of Remonda's leadership, vision and drive in addressing compliance pain points. Having spent time at Muinmos' office in Denmark, I was particularly impressed by the calibre of the team and the strength of the company's culture. The focus now is firmly on execution and scaling and, having been through a similar growth journey myself, I look forward to providing guidance and support as Muinmos continues to expand."
Ford joins a board that includes Lars Holst, Lars Torpe Christoffersen, Ashraf Agha, Michel Paul André, Remonda Kirketerp-Møller, and Anders Kirketerp-Møller.
