January 10, 2022 - LMAX Group has appointed Sean Cleary as Head of Liquidity Management and Analytics for Americas, reporting to Patrick Bartle, Managing Director for Americas at LMAX Group and will be based in New York.
At LMAX Group, Sean will oversee liquidity and analytics across the LMAX Group product suite for all clients in the Americas. In addition, he will have an integral role in devising and executing the Group’s institutional FX growth strategy in the region.
In today's announcement, LMAX stated that, "Sean brings a wealth of institutional FX industry experience to this position, having successfully grown and developed global sales teams for market infrastructure players, including CBOE Global Markets, Currenex, BNP Paribas and ICAP." Most recently, Cleary was Head of OCX at Integral based in New York, having started that position in April 2021. (OCX is the Integral Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) for matched FX trading).
