Webull Japan launches US Options

July 20, 2023 - Webull Japan has announced the launch of US Single Stock Options (SSOs) and a suite of US Index Options. As of July 18, 2023, Webull Japan will provide Japanese retail investors with direct access to US SSOs and cash-settled Index Options trading. Webull Japan is the first broker-dealer to offer US Index Options to retail investors in Japan.

The addition of US SSOs and US Index Options bolsters Webull Japan's current portfolio of US and Japanese stock offerings. 

Webull Japan is extending these products to its Japanese residents following successful rollouts in the United States, Singapore, and Australia. Part of the plan is to leverage the educational tools on the Webull platform to increase these products' exposure to its Japanese users.

Webull Japan's CEO, Wataru Kojima, expressed his enthusiasm about the new products. No other brokers have offered these products to Japanese investors before now.
