24X National Exchange has secured a strategic equity investment from Korean brokerage and investment firm Shinhan Securities, marking the firm’s first-ever investment in a U.S. stock exchange.
24X National Exchange (24X) is the first SEC-approved U.S. national securities exchange authorised to operate for 23 hours each weekday, with trading already live between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET. The new investment will support the next phase of its expansion, including the Exchange’s planned shift to 23/5 trading in H2 2026, pending final regulatory and infrastructure approvals.
The deal follows a previous investment announced in May from Japanese online trading group Rakuten Securities, highlighting growing Asian interest in 24X’s extended-hours model and cross-border equity-trading framework.

Dmitri Galinov, CEO, 24X National Exchange
“ This significant investment from Shinhan Securities will advance our mission to deliver enhanced liquidity, transparency, and convenience and efficiency to traders in U.S. equities – wherever they may be based.”
— Dmitri Galinov, CEO, 24X National Exchange
“Our investment in 24X US Holdings is part of a broader strategy to collaborate with firms pioneering cutting-edge trading technology, delivering tangible benefits to investors and market participants throughout the region.”

The investment deepens 24X’s positioning as a venue for after-hours and pre-market access to U.S. equities, particularly attractive to Asian retail and institutional investors who currently face limited overlap with U.S. market sessions.
Once 23/5 trading launches, 24X plans to operate continuously from Sunday 8:00 p.m. ET through Friday 8:00 p.m. ET, pausing only one hour per day for operational maintenance.
Korean brokerage and investment bank Shinhan Securities offers brokerage services, asset management, research and investment banking solutions across Asia.
